WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT TEAK?
Teak is the most dimensionally stable wood in the world. In addition, harder than Cherry or Walnut, teak scores over 1,000 on the Janka hardness scale; a fact that makes it very
durable for outdoor furniture, decking, furniture, etc.   Recognized for its’ beauty, rich grain, and stability, teak is used worldwide for ship-building, fine furniture, and decorative trim.
Teak is also excellent for high-end residential applications. Even if glued directly to a concrete sub-floor,solid teak will not cup or warp under anything but the harshest conditions—
there is a reason why it is used so extensively for marine applications and outdoor furniture. (See USDA Forest Products Lab Study) In addition, it is a very stable wood: low moisture
retention and it doesn't "move" like other hardwoods, especially oak. Finally, it is one of the most recognized and prestigious hardwoods, even in today's international markets.

We sell 1/2 thick x 3 inch wide tongue and groove
teak wood. This is a great product for working
on boats, ceilings, eaves, siding, etc. It is similar
to the board and batten style of wood. Solid teak
wood in both 100% heartwood or marine grade
teak and standard teak=heartwood/sapwood mix.

Solid Teak Moldings 3/4" x 3/4" inch available in 38, 60, 84,
